This 1933 Ford Tudor was purchased around 1990 by owners whose dream was to build a true Ford icon. With a strong background in racing—including building and competing at El Mirage Dry Lake in California’s Mojave Desert and on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats—they brought a clear vision and extensive hands-on experience to the project. The car’s transformation began with an all-steel body, including the fenders and running boards, mounted on a boxed chassis. It is powered by a 305ci V8 mated to a TH350 automatic transmission. The Mustang II-style front suspension features tubular control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and disc brakes, while the rear is equipped with a multi-leaf suspension and drum brakes. Teardrop taillights, a frenched license plate, chrome bumpers front and rear, and suicide doors give this Ford Vicky its unmistakable presence. The car rides on 16-inch Rocket aluminum wheels fitted with Michelin Defender radial tires, sized 205/60R16 in front and 235/60R16 at the rear.
