"Red Racer" 1955 Ford F100 with a Chrysler 5.7L Hemi 6sp. Auto transmission 9” Ford Posi rear end with .373 gears 4 wheel disc brakes 4 corner coil overs new tires 4-link rear suspension IFS Mustang II type Rack and pinion steering The engine was out of a box slated for a 2008 Chrysler 300 AWD and supposed to be 340hp @ 5000rpms, torque is 390 @ 4000 according to the specs., although I've never authenticated the numbers. The transmission was rebuilt and from a 2007 Ram 2500 (68RFE). Rear-end from a '66 Ford Bronco (rebuilt previous to me) 9" Posi, 5x5.5 pattern. Vin # F10V5L19090 Rewired the A/C, coolant fan, computer, AND cigarette lighter—this time they are on their own circuit. Interior by Outlaw Upholstery in Chino Valley 2” receiver hitch, cut-flipped-rewelded-and now it's a perfect height Front sway bar and custom bushings by Nichols Autofab in Prescott Spare tire with slide out mount Rack & Pinion/Steering Gear rebuild by Phoenix Rack & Axle with new seals New coil over springs on all 4 corners Also New: fuel pump serpentine belt intake air box master cylinder and vacuum booster with the additional vacuum canister, wheel alignment new correct sized radiator, with the correct sized coolant fan, temperature controlled of course, front rotors and brakes I drive it all the time into Scottsdale (120+ miles one-way) I have over $55K+ into it.
