I have spent 800 hrs on my 56 since December. It is coming out nice. 1969 350 cui engine with new carburetor and hei distributor. 1950ish Cadillac aircleaner. Danchuk side enginemounts. Th 350 new front , rear seals, filter and pangasket. 58" wide axle from 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass , it has Chevy boltpattern and is 2" narrower than the stock one. The key here is 2,41:1 ratio. Stock is 4,11:1 . This newer axle lets you cruise at 70 mph at 2400 rpm like much newer cars. Cpp 500 steering box. New pump and brackets. Tilt column out of a 64 Pontiac. New alternator and bracket. New starter. Will get discbrakes up front. I have top and regulators and every piece of trim. I would buy new side glass but I have all the old stuff. Original colors are Onyx black with black and white interior. Clear California title in my name . Current registration and insured.
