This is a lovely and well sorted ‘59 Land Rover. I love it, but I’m trying to buy another car and freeing up money. The car has the later Series II engine, 4 speed trans, 4WD, Overdrive, and high/low. New tires, new Upholstry from Rovers North made by Exmoor in England, new Coco mats, New top and/or you can do the bikini top also by Exmoor England as an alternative. Runs well, always starts, new stainless steel exhaust. Some of the gauges could use some work. I sourced most of the new parts from Rovers North in Vermont. Anything it was missing, I sourced from eBay or Pangolin in Oregon, such as correct mud flaps and air cleaner assembly. I had the carburetor rebuilt recently and the front brakes are new. The front brakes are the larger 109 style brakes. Gas engine. Twin tanks, although I’ve never used the driver’s side one. I did install new leaf springs from Rovers North on it and new gas shocks. I added the D rings to the front bumper too. I hate to see it go, but I am okay with it. Or best offer.
