Listed at $18,900 USD.
If you're looking for a beautiful Classic VW Bug that you'd be proud to drive, look no further! This 1962 Volkswagon Bug was built by a Bug rebuilder in California. He did 90% of the work and I finished the other 10% in the last 2 years. The car has seldom been driven except for regular starting and driving around the block to keep lubricated, I haven't added even a 100 miles on the odometer since finishing the car. It's being passed on to anybody who would appreciate all the work and tender care put into it. The original rebuilder entered the car and took 25th place in the California Bug-O-Rama show 4 years ago. All work done in the last four years! *Strong 1835cc engine - dual port dual carbs (heads redone) *Converted 12 volts system, rebuilt 6 volt wiper motor w/12 volt conversion kit *4” narrowed beam front axle w/new disc brakes and all new brake lines *New rear brake drums *New gas tank and fuel lines *New shocks and steering dampener *New chrome bumpers and brackets *New sidewinder exhaust *New front windshield *Replacement 4 speed transmission *15” chrome Fuchs wheels (Porsche style) w/new tires *New blue tooth stereo w/3way 6x9”speakers *Convertible rear deck lid w/engine vents *New rear view and side door mirrors *New wiper blades *Upgraded headlights with built-in LED turn signals *Completely redone interior to include seat coverings, carpet, mats, head liner, glove box *Pan is in excellent condition (no rust) *Recent tune up since I bought the car: Points & condenser, dwell & timing adjusted, replaced spark plugs, valve adjustment, dual carbs synchronized, idle and mixture adjusted, clutch adjusted, hand brake adjusted, door strikers adjusted, alternator belt adjusted, diagnose and fixed minor electrical faults and oil change. *Nearly perfect body (no rust) and beautiful metallic blue paint job was sprayed (in and out) and stored over ten years ago, then taken out of storage and built in the last four years. *Clean title *No trades, serious buyers only!
