Original Red / Red Mustang Convertible with the famous 289 2V Cubic Inch Engine and 3-speed C-4 Automatic Transmission. This Mustang is equipped with a manual top, brakes and steering. Car is in great drivable condition, goes down the road straight and stops straight and is really fun to drive!. Car shows very well - Always a crowd pleaser. The Mustang was restored about 20 years ago and has had recent updates. New parts include a white convertible top, water pump, alternator, carburetor, fuel pump, gas sending unit, heater core, shocks and four new P205/75R – 14 whitewall radial tires (just last month). The paint is still nice, but has a few bumps and scratches. Car is basically rust-free, except for one frame support. I do have a new replacement brace for the driver's side. One door has a little bubbling of the paint in one spot. Carpets need replacing, but I have red new carpets that can be put in when the support is changed. I just haven’t gotten around to installing them yet. Original mileage unknown. Shows about 96,500, but the speedometer was replaced with a 1966 gauge cluster during the restoration, so actual mileage is unknown. The car has been in the family for over 10 years and is very dependable. Reason for selling: I have too many cars and I need to finish my old Ford roadster. Great for car shows and cruises for the whole family. Asking $27,000 and well worth the fun that it is!
