This is a 1965 Mustang, 6 cyl, 4 speed, Deluxe or "Pony" interior. The 6 "supposedly" has a cam, has a header with 2 1/2" exhaust thru a Magnaflow muffler. Single bbl carb (rebuilt). Surprisingly peppy for a 6, and really fun to drive. It has power drum brakes, rebuilt by the previous owner. Manual steering. I've done a ton of work to it since I bought it last October. I have receipts for all the work I've done. The 4 speed is a toploader from a 67 (WAY overkill behind a 6), new pressure plate, flywheel, clutch, etc. I did a complete re-wire, front to back. New, made in USA wiring harnesses, factory color coded. All new bulbs, switches, relays, etc. New battery. New fuel tank with new sender. New front shocks (has air shocks in the rear). New parking brake cables. Since this has the "Pony" interior, it has gauges in the instrument cluster, which all work. New Classic Car stereo, am/fm/ipod. I replaced the locks and ignition, so they all work smoothly. This car is 90+ percent rust free. There is NO structural rot. Ther is one rot spot behind the drivers' door, and surface rust where it's primered. A previous owner replaced the passenger side rear quarter. You can't even tell it's been replaced from the outside of the car, other than the primer. There are 2 things that don't work on the car, the horns (a new harness is included), and the heater core will need to be replaced. Yes, the price is a little high for a 6 cyl, but considering the lack of rot and the work that's been done to it, I feel it's a fair asking price. I'm only selling it because I've reached the age where it's not comfortable for me to drive it much, which is a shame since it's so much fun to drive. I'd like to find someone who will drive and enjoy it, and take it to the next level. I'm not in a hurry to sell, and won't even discuss price until you've inspected and driven the car.
