This truck has been in our family possession for abut 15 years. We raised 3 sons (as seen on the photos), we did a lot of projects together on this truck. Eventually, our middle son got really attached to the truck, he tinkered with it countless times for over a decade. I helped him multiple times, and got to know the truck quite well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr6JO7ftIjI The engine is a beast, it’s powerful and it roars like a lion. We rebuilt the bench, it’s very comfortable and sturdy, no tears, spotless. We put in a brand new aluminum radiator about 2 years ago, I helped my son with that too. The starter has an issue. It starts well on horizontal surface, but sometimes is has trouble on a slope. My son bought a brand new (rebuilt?) starter, but it’s not installed yet. It also needs a neutral safety switch. We drove this car maybe a few hundred miles per year. It does have a secondary tank, so you can fill it up well. The body all in all is in a good shape. It’s been sitting in the garage for 4 years now. It has a dent on the left side (that’s how we bought it). We did not have any accident/collision with this car. However, the roof line is leaking a bit, there’s a rusted seam just below the roof, and in heavy rains, waters drips into the cabin. The right side mirror is missing the mirror sheet. One of the windows’ crank is a bit difficult to operate. This truck has a lot of presence, it draws people to itself, especially old-timers. My sons are all grown now, 2 of them moved to Europe, so I have no use of this truck anymore. It’s sitting in a garage in Hood River, Oregon. It’s a bittersweet moment for me to sell this truck. It played a major part in our sons’ teenage years. But that time is gone. We need to move on. I would like to sell it to somebody who has the passion for this car, who will continue giving it the TLC it deserves.
