1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 Convertible. Rare car of only about 6,000 produced in 1967 and 1968 with the even less common color option "Aspen Green" Mechanically this car has been restored and can be driven daily. Any wear components have been replaced and pretty much just needs the cosmetic finishing touches to make this a true show car. Frame is virtually rust free and is a very clean car underneath. Just has the typical, but very minor rust spots on the fenders and rear quarters (which the previous owner had started to repair). Otherwise just drive it as is with the original patina. This one in particular sports a powerful 425 cu.in. 7.0L motor featuring the higher horsepower, torque, and compression from a Toronado. 385 hp - 475 ft.lb - 10:5:1 ratio The giant oversized gas pedal perfectly compliments the power that pushes you back in your seat as you press it to the floor. The motor has been pulled out and rebuilt a few years ago including: Heads machined, new valves, guides, hardened valve seats. New timing chain and components. Water Pump. Starter. New Battery. Electronic distributor and coil. New oil pump, oil seals, motor mounts, hoses, belts. Refurbished harmonic balancer. Rebuilt Rochester 4 barrel carburetor. New Dual exhaust with ceramic coated manifolds. (Needs the two new mufflers replaced which I do have) Suspension, steering, and brakes have also been redone including: New brake shoes. Wheel seals. Front and rear coil springs and shocks. Steering center link and tie rods. Sway bar and other bushings It is currently fitted with a set of 4 older Crager SS chrome 15" wheels. I also have the set of original steel wheels with hubcaps and brand new tires as well. Interior appears to be original. The seats are not in bad shape with only a few small splits in the leather, The carpet is in poor condition and could use replacing. Door panels are all present with some tears near the window cranks on the driver front The top has no rips and features a glass rear window.
