1971 Mercedes-Benz Sedan – Project Car – German Mechanic Owned – $4,000 OBO Selling a 1971 Mercedes-Benz sedan that has been stored and is ready for someone to restore or bring back to life. The car was owned and worked on by a German auto mechanic, which is a nice plus for a classic European car like this. It is currently not running and, to my knowledge, needs an ignition switch. I have not had it fully diagnosed, so it may need additional mechanical work from sitting. The car appears largely complete and has a lot of original character. The interior is surprisingly intact for its age, with the original-style dash, wood trim, steering wheel, seats, and gauges. Exterior has age-related wear, faded paint, and visible surface rust/patina, especially around the trunk area.
