1971 Pontiac Gto Transmission for sale in Ventura, CA
Listed at $50,000 USD.
This is a real nice original survivor car. It had 48,000 original miles on it when purchased. It has now crossed into 49,000. It has a clean Arizona title. It was a one owner when I purchased it. It spent most of it's life in Arizona in a garage. It was never crashed or rusty. The front chrome grilles and headlight trim are original to the car and look extremely nice. The original radio and dash trim are still in the car. The dash has no cracks that I can see. It does have a minor warp in the upper center area. It is equipped with the standard Muncie 3 speed transmission and original Hurst shifter. It has factory air conditioning. It is complete with the exception of needing an R12 freon charge. The numbers matching all original engine is the 400 cubic inch 350 HP 4 barrel. It has the original Rally wheels still on it. Carburetor is the original 7041263 800 CFM that only came on the manual transmission cars that year. It has had one repaint in the original Lucerne Blue color. The interior was replaced with the correct blue upholstery. The predominant negative items is the A/C needs a charge, the original AM radio is not working, and the muffler on one side is buckled and needs replacement. Ideally replace the entire exhaust and decide at that time to leave the stock manifolds and pipe sizes or convert to the Ram Air manifolds and system. I could never decide so I left it alone. It is not what I consider a show car however, it is cleaner than many show cars that I have seen. It's mainly just a real pretty, fun driver. As much as I would like continue to keep it I need the space here for another vehicle that I am considering. It is located in the Thousand Oaks Ca 91320 area. Thanks for looking.
