1971 VW Van. Was sitting in a field for years. No paperwork. 1600 engine, single-port heads. Doghouse oil cooler. Dual oil-pressure pistons. 37mm fan impeller. Generator and regulator are good. Carb is new from Amazon. Stock distributor, points. Blue coil. Bug muffler. Electric fuel pump Engine starts right up. Runs strong. Clutch feels good. Transmission shifts smoothly, but never had it up to speed. Topped off with fresh gear lube. Tires have plenty of tread but are very old. Have all 4 original hubcaps. Needs front shocks. Front disks and calipers look good. Same with rear shoes and drums. Master cylinder needs replacing. Hand brake works. Wiring needs sorting out. Front driver and passenger floor rusted; see pic. Cargo bay not so bad. One dent right rear (pic) Body looks straight. No major issues other than rust and a cracked windshield.
