1972 Volkswagen Bus for sale in Portland, OR
Listed at $6,500 USD.
This is a 1972 VW Bus. I have had it for over 15 years. I drove it regularly for a while and it ran great. The motor is larger than the original and was installed by Always-V-Dub in SE Portland. I had the transmission rebuilt not long after I got it. I stopped driving it about 13 years ago and it has pretty much not been driven since. I have always wanted to work on it but never found the time. It's been under a fabric cover outside in the winter, and uncovered in the summer. It's started up every summer, including this one. After putting gas in it recently discovered there is a leak so you will want to tow it to your shop and start your rebuilding project with that first. (I have no idea if the odometer has rolled over.)
