This is a good running and driving 1979 GMC Sierra Classic 1/2 ton pickup truck. This does have rust and dents. Even though it was setup as a nice cruiser when I bought it from my buddy after 10 years, I set it up as a work truck. It was my daily driver on and off for 7 years. It wasn't used as a work truck, just back an fourth to work some days and a grocery getter. It has an upgraded USB stereo with a subwoofer and decent door speakers. The first 2 pics show the newer original chevy grill and newer front tires. I do have a full set of original rally wheels with center caps, 2 are chevy and 2 are GMC. Those could come with the truck or I have 9 or 10 of the white mag wheels that are on it. The floor pans are solid but just covered with steel sheeting and would need to be replaced. This has a GM 350 4-bolt main engine that was added after the original straight 6 went out. Since it's been parked a lot since 2022 I've added a water pump, fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator and filter, edelbrock carburetor with electric choke package. I also have a new clear distributor cap and spark plugs I haven't put in yet. The clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing were replaced shortly before I parked it as well. I went thru the exhaust and replaced the lead seals and patched a few of the leaks. I re-welded some areas and added some new chrome tips you'll see in the pics. Since there are glasspacks the exhaust is pretty loud. This truck also has dual gas tanks with locking gas caps and a working switch in the cab. The engine stamped code is T74522386 K03 31 TXL. The TXL makes it a 1975 L LS9 which was made specifically for Buses and Vans. This was rated at 165hp which is the highest they made from 1975-1980 in the chilton's engine guide I found it in. The lowest in this category was 140hp. The original tool box works, locks and comes with a key. The rack is adjustable and is able to be extended a little further over the hood or can be pulled back close to the windshield line. I've lowered it to $5,000.00 since the optima battery is going bad. It's the lowest I'll go. I'd consider trades or partial trades. I'm currently looking for a motorcycle, I like cruisers (road kings ...etc.) Adventure bikes like the Kawasaki KLR650's. I'm not into crotch rockets. I might consider other bikes and might still consider other vehicles like A newer small delivery van like the Nissan NV or promaster, for transit ...etc. I also like old Jeeps or muscle cars, I don't know, let me know what you have.
