1979 Mercury Cougar Xr for sale in Kansas City, MO
Listed at $2,500 USD.
I have a 1979 Mercury Cougar XR-7 for sale. It has the 302ci V-8 Engine and C4 Auto Trans. This car has right around 111,500 miles on it. It does Run, Move and Stop but does need some work. I believe it is going to need the Right side Head Gasket. (Blows white smoke on R/side after it warms up) It does have an aftermarket duel exhaust installed. It has newer tires and carburetor is only a few years old. Other than the wheels and exhaust it is mostly original. Also the vinyl top was removed to prevent rusting. The headliner was dropping so it was removed. The body is straight and has very little rust. The floors, trunk and frame are also very solid. The inside is not perfect but is fair for a 47 year old car. This car is a project and will need to be trailered or towed. 2500 Cash and I have the Title ready to sell.
