*CAR IS LOCATED IN UTAH* *WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED * 1981 Lincoln Continental Mark VI, hasn’t ran for over 17 years and sat in a garage for the duration of the time. The previous owner claimed that the transmission was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago, before it was stored away in their garage. The dash says that there is approximately a few thousand miles below 68k original miles, it could be 68k or 168k, by the looks of it, I’m willing to bet it could be 68k (these years didn’t have the 6th digit on the odometer), it also comes equipped with the digital dash and info. center, and the security combo keyless entry keypad on the driver side door sill. I believe the previous owner neglected it and made a few poor decisions on disassembly with some of the parts. The body and paint show well but has dings and dents and some areas where the clear coat is beginning to peel, the rear bumper has rust that has eaten through on the lower quarter bottom of the bumper, the vinyl coach top is cracking and will need replacing. The interior is in decent shape with the exception of the sagging headliner and a few other small pieces and the back part of the driver seat and driver side door panel (which are in the trunk). The previous owner took the door panel apart and broke some of the pieces, however most or all of the parts are accounted for. This Baby Lincoln does come equipped with the sunroof (nice, hard to find feature) that some people just purchase these cars to tear out and put into their own projects. The trunk support lift (shocks) and hood lift (shocks) need to be replaced. The trunk is in decent shape and under the hood is in decent shape with all original parts. I haven’t had the chance to start the Lincoln, and if I was to get it started and driving I would raise the price. I would change all fluids, give it a tune up, drop the fuel tank replace the pump and blow out the fuel lines before I started the car. I haven’t started any work on it due to other projects that are first in line. Clean title in hand, no trades please, cash only. Asking $4000 firm.
