Selling my 1985 Jeep CJ-7. This is a great-looking, extensively upgraded CJ that combines classic CJ-7 character with a much more modern fuel-injected drivetrain and a long list of mechanical, drivability and comfort upgrades. The Jeep has been garage kept and driven very little over approximately the last four years. It isn't a freshly restored show vehicle, the paint is older and has imperfections but it presents very well and has had substantial investment in the drivetrain, axles, brakes, suspension, exhaust, interior and other components. A substantial amount of work has already gone into the areas that matter most. The 1995 4.0L HO fuel-injected engine has approximately 67,000 miles and gives the Jeep much better starting and drivability than the original carbureted setup. The top end was rebuilt/refreshed approximately five years ago along with new gaskets, spark plugs, hoses and belts. The drivetrain has also been extensively upgraded with 3.73 gearing, an Eaton TrueTrac up front, an ARB air-locking upgraded rear axle, onboard ARB compressor, four-wheel disc brakes, suspension lift and 35" tires. Add the custom MagnaFlow exhaust, Vintage Air, upgraded stereo, new weather stripping and lighting, and this is a CJ where a lot of the expensive work has already been done. I've tried to represent the Jeep accurately rather than oversell it. The paint is older and has imperfections, but the Jeep has been garage kept and presents very well.
