1985 ASC McLaren. This is one of the rarest cars listed on Craigslist! This car is number 167 out of 455 ASC McLaren Capri's made. 4-speed automatic transmission. Rear disc brake conversion, frame stiffeners, aftermarket radio, KYB shocks. This car was repainted at some point before I acquired it. VIN number is correct according to the title and Carfax. The odometer shows 77K miles, but the original 85-mph speedometer was replaced by a 140-mph speedometer at some point, so the true mileage is about 141,000 miles. 5.0 V8, throttle body fuel injection. Steel tonneau cover, power windows, AC (not currently working). New exhaust and new catalytic convertors. New tires. Slow oil leak from front main seal and a slow coolant leak. Almost certainly the classic "Intake Gasket Failure": The aluminum intake manifold on the classic small-block Ford seals coolant passages as it bolts to the iron cylinder heads. Paint blemish on the forward, driver's fender. Several paint chips in plastic bumper covers (probably visible in photos). Small dent in passenger window trim, again probably visible in pictures. I really love the ASC but have too many cars at this time. $6,500 or best offer.
