I have a 1986 Mercedes-Benz 300E . 2nd Owner.115,XXX Miles .4 speed automatic transmission. W124 chassis. Legendarily Reliable M103 engine that is capable of 500,000+ miles when properly maintained.Power adjustable seats ,pwr locks,pwr windows. Heats works great and a/c does work but needs recharged. Brakes work great. Factory sound system and power antenna. It runs and drives but needs some adjusting/tuning to run perfectly( Engine sounds great no weird noises and Does not overheat) doesnt burn oil. Interior is in pretty great shape. No cracks on the dash. The only light on the dash is for the windshield wash fluid low.The body is in very good condition no rust at all. It is not perfect has a few little dings and light scratches. It is 40 years old. The underside is also very clean. All the suspension components/serviceable parts are free of rust and clean so there shouldn't be any issues when it comes time to replace. The moon roof cover panel on the inside is removed to fix the plastic gear that was stripped out. ( have the new part).
