Still wearing its beautiful, shiny original (8A1) blue paint. everything is kept pretty much original as I could - Recently rebuilt carburetor - Passed California smog inspection - Clean title in hand - Original 22R engine - 5-speed manual transmission - No power steering, and honestly, I barely notice the difference - No A/C —no need in northern California - just a simple, honest, reliable truck They really don't make them like this anymore. Starts every time, even at 9,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada. Runs cool, drives great, and gets approximately 25 MPG. You can fly into Reno and drive it home wherever you live. Life sometimes dictates its own conditions, and unfortunately, I'm considering letting this one go. I'm not in a rush, and frankly, I don't particularly want to sell it. I'll definitely miss the simplicity, the carburetor, and the feeling of driving a truck that was built to be a truck in its pretty original shape I've looked at Toyota pickups across the lower 48, and I rarely see one this clean and original outside of those ridiculously priced “time capsules” that keep appearing at fancy collector dealerships.
