Very desirable shark nose from the best years (88-89) of the E24 model 6 series. It starts and runs but needs work. It's a 40 year old European luxury car so you know it has some gremlins and misc problems. Here's what I know after going over it: 130K miles on the odometer but the odometer does not work so true mileage unknown. Parking lot ding on front nose panel, comes with a good replacement nose panel (see pics). 3 small dings and 3 rust bubble spots. Floors are good and interior is dry although the carpet needs a good shampooing to remove the smell. Front airdam is split and has been repaired. Driver's outside door handle doesn't work (that's why the previous owner stopped driving it 4 years ago). The inside door handle works. Anti-lock brake dash light is on (see pics). Temperature gauge doesn't work. Sunroof doesn't work. Dash is cracked. Rear windows don't work from any of the switches. Front windows work fine. Nothing works on the driver's power seat (9 out of 10 things do work on the passenger seat). Cruise control stalk is broken. The L6 engine starts up easily warm or cold and runs with a squeaky belt. The transmission shifts fine and the tranny fluid looks good. Wheels are BMW 16" mesh style and are in good overall condition. Interior leather has wear on the driver's side bolster and the rear center console has damage. Paint looks bad but will come back shiny with a good paint detail. You knew there was a reason it's priced cheap, this car is perfect for an enthusiast who wants to work on it themselves and save shop costs fixing the problems that bother you.
