1988 Jeep Cherokee that needs some love. The good: Runs and drives well, even at highway speeds Newer tires New water pump/thermostat + seals New starter motor New battery Patina paint! All original & working radio/dash Good condition interior for it's age Engine, transmission and transferase work without any problems Clean title Just passed smog and have receipt, tags are good until 2028. The bad: Steering column (why i'm selling it): has been loose for a couple years now. It takes some fiddling with it to get the steering lock sensor in the right position so the ignition system will work, if it's not in the right spot it's not gonna start. It really doesn't like being parked on uneven ground (once again due to the steering column) and takes a lot of fiddling with to get it started when not on flat ground. Front end damage from catching ice without chains in 2023. Still drives well (pictured) front left frame is pushed in very slightly (not enough to effect sway bar) in the front that could be hammered out easily enough. It slow leaks oil (half a liter every 2 months) from the pan and rear engine seal, it leaks coolant from the overflow tank (probably just hose fittings). Headliner could use some TLC Exhaust makes some noise while running Rear speaker blown out Hood release is broken off and just requires pilers to open (same spot) Missing antenna This would be a decent parts car or if you have the time would be a great rescue. It's brought me through a lot over the years but i can't find the parts to repair the column so I'm begrudgingly letting it go for a new daily.
