1989 Ford F 250 XL 2dr Standard Cab LB for sale in Grass Valley, CA
Listed at $5,000 USD.
Swapped in a Borg Warner T-19 4-speed manual, 4.11 gears, so it’s not a high speed traveler. It’ll pull a house off its foundation, and tow it just about anywhere. Upgraded to a Facet DuraLift electronic fuel pump. Just replaced all the return lines, caps, and o-rings. New fuel heater. Aluminum Centerline wheels w BF Goodrich all terrain tires with good tread. New Warn locking hubs. Brand new headlight assemblies and upgraded headlight wiring harness. 20” LED light bar set in the grill. CB radio. ATS turbo. It has a Warn steel front winch bumper, and a Warn 12,000 lb winch. In the rear, it has a Reese hitch, but no bumper. It also has a fifth wheel hitch installed, if you want it. The dash has a couple small cracks, and the glove box is duct-taped closed, I rhino-lined the floor, but it could use a re-do (I have the sprayer, the material is about $100/gal). The bench seat has a one inch razor slice, that would barely be visible, if a talented seamstress stitched it up. Has. Kenwood head unit and two Infinity 6x9’s in the doors. It already has the RCA’s connected, if you want to add an amp. I need to check the wiring, and I will if it sells. I bought this truck from the original owner 12 or 13 years ago, and I’ve spent a lot of time and money during that time, and I have learned volumes about diesels in the process. I replaced the bed and door recently. Before that, I got compliments on it every time I drove it. I still have half a gallon of the pearl blue flake paint, clear coat, and primer on hand in case you want me to spray it, so it all matches. I could spray it for a very reasonable fee. If you think this might be your future work truck, I can answer any questions you may have. It does need some work, as they all do. The most important needs are battery cables, clamps, and two fresh batteries. Then, a glow plug controller. Then there are the little things. It never ends. I am moving to Texas, and I can’t afford to take my rock crawler (89 Cherokee) and the truck 2000 miles away, so that’s the reason I need to sell it. It’s a hard choice, but it had to be made.
