1989 Ford F 250 XL 2dr Standard Cab LB for sale in Grass Valley, CA
Listed at $1 USD.
1989 F0rd F250 7.3 IDI with ATS Turbo kit. 237k miles. Runs and drives but needs work. The engine I believe was replaced with a 1991 motor since when I got it the seller said it had been replaced at 160k miles. Recent Lil Moose injection pump, glow plugs and I made a new glow plug harness, brand new alternator. Owned since 2004, bought out of Arizona, so you can imagine the paint is faded. Briefly, the main issue is the transmission will grind if you are not very careful on shifting. It could be just the throw out bearing, I installed the small firewall reinforcement kit a while back. The clutch and flyweel is the single mass LUK kit, I'm just gonna guess it has around 40k on it. Its going to need a rear drum job. The batteries start and work but will need to get done sometime. Paint: somewhat present. Some rust above the windows. Interior: it was a work truck, mismatched panels. Front driver seat needs work. I took out the rear seat and cooked up a little wooden bench for tools etc. I have the original rear bench seat but it down in the bay area along with some extra parts (i.e. brake rotor spare caliper and I cant remember what else) Subwoofer: not included (too powerful for the general population and even made my ex army ranger friend sick) Rear cab over: has a dent and needs at least two new struts. They are pretty cheap Bed: has a plastic liner. Basically, I'm tired of working on it and I don't feel like dropping the tranny another time. Too many other projects. I'll get some more pictures after I clean my tools and stuff out. Title in hand, but the registration is out from last year and has a couple parking tickets, probably will cost about $500 to get it current. Price is best offer. Send an email with your contact info and I'll give you a call and answer any questions.
