1994 Mitsubishi Delica L400 for sale in Seattle, WA
Listed at $14,900 USD.
1994 Mitsubishi Delica L400 Exceed with the 2.8L 4M40 intercooled turbo-diesel engine. 121,438 kilometers — approximately 75,500 miles If you know Delicas, you already understand what makes these vans so special. If you don’t, they are unlike almost anything else on the road—a right-hand-drive Japanese 4WD van with a turbo-diesel engine, an incredibly versatile interior and plenty of personality. I’ve owned this Delica for about two years, and it has been a great adventure vehicle. Whether you’re heading into the mountains, setting up camp for the weekend or simply driving around town, owning one is an experience. People notice it everywhere it goes, and it always seems to start a conversation. One of the best features of the L400 is Mitsubishi’s Super Select four-wheel-drive system. It gives you the ability to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, along with high- and low-range settings for more difficult conditions. It’s a great combination for highway driving, snow, forest roads and getting farther off the beaten path. It also has a modern KARR security and tracking system controlled through an app on your phone. You can remotely start the Delica from wherever you are, track its location and access additional security features directly through the app. It adds modern convenience and peace of mind to a classic imported vehicle. The interior has two captain’s chairs behind the driver and passenger seats that rotate 360 degrees, creating a comfortable and flexible setup for traveling or camping. The interior is in good condition for its age, with some wear on the rear upholstery from the seats being folded down. I’m also including the Roofnest rooftop tent and awning at no additional cost. Together, they make the Delica ready for weekend camping trips and longer adventures without having to build out the interior or purchase an expensive camping setup separately. The Delica’s compact size makes it surprisingly easy to drive and park, while the diesel engine, four-wheel-drive system and spacious interior make it far more capable and versatile than a typical van. It’s the kind of vehicle that makes you want to take the long way home and start planning your next trip. This is a well-loved, 32-year-old Japanese import, so it should be purchased with the understanding that older specialty vehicles require regular maintenance and occasional attention. Parts are available, and there is a strong and knowledgeable Delica community supporting these vehicles. I’m not representing it as perfect or brand-new, but it is a unique and enjoyable Delica with plenty of adventures ahead of it. I would love to see it go to someone who understands what it is and is genuinely excited about owning one. Clean Washington title in hand. Asking $14,900
