1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 2dr Hatchback for sale in Santa Maria, CA
Listed at $8,500 USD.
$8,500 OBO. Selling because I don’t have space in the garage. This is a solid #3- (4+) driver (minus for the paint, noted below). Hagerty valuation is $10,560 for #3 and $8,140 for #4. I’d be happy to send a copy of the valuation report. I have a video of it up on YouTube. Text me for the link. Notable highlights include: PASSED SMOG ON 7/13/26 - transfer ownership within 90 days and you don’t have to smog it again • 6 speed manual transmission • T tops • Clean 2nd owner carfax • Clean CA title in hand • No check engine light • Air Conditioner works • Power windows work • Power door locks work • Cruise control works • Key fob works to lock/unlock • 2 sets of keys • No leaks (mechanic that did the smog found an oil leak at the distributor shaft seal, which was removed/replaced) • New clutch at 91k miles • New water pump, distributor, plugs, wires at 92k miles • Runs smooth, shifts smooth • All stock including factory “skip shift” that has not been eliminated • Includes original window sticker • Highly optioned including leather interior and power driver seat (see window sticker for full details) • Full service history dating back to original purchase receipt A couple of minor things: • The paint could use some attention. There are some imperfections (sometimes referred to as “spider cracks” or “alligatoring”), mostly on the hood. This can be seen in the YouTube video at about the 2 minute mark. • On 8/4 the driver side window didn’t roll back up all the way right away with the engine off. After turning the engine on it rolled up all the way, and it’s been working fine since then. I ordered a new regulator/motor assembly and the part will be included with the sale.
