1996 Dodge 12V 3500 Cummins 5 Speed Manual Mechanic owned. Bought with 230k, now ~288k, work done: New South Bend clutch, fly wheel with updated pilot bearing, rear crank seal, rebuilt the transmission with Timken bearings and Quad 4x4 main shaft and transmission kit. Transfer case DHD 241with Timken bearings and Morse Chain. Spicer U joints and carrier in rear driveshaft, new front Tom Woods drive shaft. New Spicer clutches in Dana 80 rear differential, 4 Bilstein 5100 gas shocks. Moog ball joints, Lukes Links tie rod ends and track bar joints. Borgenson steering box and shaft, BD steering box brace, power steering vacuum pump gasket and seal. New alternator and Power Master USA made starter. Serpentine belt, new seal in front axle disconnect, Spicer outer U joints, Timkin USA front outer unit bearings. Pulled radiator, flushed system and new hoses. New Mopar fan clutch. Killer dowel pin done with new crank seal and Mopar front damper. Hellwig rear sway bar, front sway bar bushings. Timing is advanced and has 3000rpm kit. Airlift airbags. Has gooseneck and receiver hitch. I built custom front bumper with Ramsey 12k pound winch. Very new Cooper tires with Alcoa aluminum wheels. Dynomat under carpet, and more… Owned since 2007, I am a life long mechanic, owned my other 12V for 25+ years - which will never be for sale. Most work done in last 15k miles. Initially bought/used this truck for skid steer business, but most work recently done to use with camper. Sold the camper, just don’t use the truck anymore.
