I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE MOTOR RUNNING. purrs like a kitten. Is there a mobile mechanic that can "adjust" a shifter cable on a 1996 Mercedes E320? It's in PARK, but it thinks it's in REVERSE. I know that's exactly what it is I have had the same thing happen before 3 yrs ago. The other so-called mechanic has already removed the console (all parts are there), so 1/2 the job is done. DO NOT RECOMMEND TOWING IT TO A SHOP. That's a minimum 350$ Its a 1996. motor is perfect. No leaks; AC and everything else works. Brakes, suspension, exhaust, and tires have only 2000 miles. I have the receipts. I've owned it for 8 years. I might consider selling it. You could flip it easily. Seats and carpet are great. The upgraded head unit does everything a new car can do, even a CD player. lmao
