Mechanics special. 1997 Ford F150 4.2 L V6. Truck has always been adult owned and driven. Just recently it started warming up underload on really hot days and when I went to start it the other morning I had a loud knocking sound which sounded like it was coming from under the valve cover. It’s a pretty good knock and guessing it’s a collapsed lifter. I don’t have time or the desire to fix it but the truck should still have a lot of life left in it. Just installed a new AC compressor, blend door and actuator. The AC blows ice cold and the heater is hot. The truck drives great on the road and the steering is nice and tight. Tires are worn, but still have life left.  Just smogged it last April and it passed no problem. The body is not perfect and the paint is chipping.  The title is in hand and in my name. I can also deliver the truck to a reasonable distance. I would not recommend trying to drive it beyond moving onto a trailer and parking it. Asking $2000 but make me an offer if interested
