1998 Ford Expedition – Eddie Bauer Edition - 5.4l 2V Triton, 4R100 Super Duty transmission - Front and Rear climates, independent w/ rear controls - Seats 7, Tows 5000lb, has roof racks - Removable 3rd row + 2nd row folds down = pickup truck - 2WD, 4x4 High, 4x4 Lo, A4WD - 6” Rough Country Lift My dad bought it new as a family travel & beach “truck”. I am the second owner. Original engine, second transmission. The Good: 1. Brand new 4.56 gears, rebuilt front and rear differentials 2. Brand new 35” Tires and wheels 3. New window motors, ignition coils 4. It’s been loved and well taken care of inside and out The Bad: 1. It needs an AC refresh. Likely clogged orifice, it makes air cooler not cold. I can do it before selling for the right person/ price. 2. Sometimes it thinks it’s being stolen. Long ago the ECU was replaced and didn’t pair perfectly with the anti-theft system. Sometimes you put the key in and it blinks THEFT. You have to take the key out and back again. 3. The rocker panels on this generation Ford are known to rust, and mine have. If you’re a welder or know one, there’s lots of DIY videos on fixing it. Not shown, but includes: - Factory set of wheels (with old 33” Cooper tires) - Factory running boards - Chrome bull bar - Original manuals / window sheet I don't have to sell it but I don't use it enough and would love for someone to enjoy it.
