1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty Extended Cab 5.4L — 80K Original Miles — 1 Owner — Fully Recommissioned 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty Extended Cab 5.4L V8 80,000 Original Miles 1 Owner Factory Tow Package 4x2 Clean Title in Hand This is a very unique, low-mileage 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty that I purchased through eBay after speaking directly with the previous owner's son and learning the history of the truck. The truck spent approximately 20 years sitting inside a dry warehouse in Passaic, NJ. It was originally owned by one person and was used for work before eventually being parked after the fuel pump failed. The original owner passed away, and the family eventually sold the building where the truck had been stored, which is how the truck came to be sold. THE BED HISTORY The truck originally had a service body. At some point, the original service body was damaged, but there was no frame damage. The service body was replaced with a new one, and there were receipts for the replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement body began rusting and the paint started peeling after approximately a year. The company involved would not replace it again, resulting in a lawsuit that the family ultimately won. Rather than installing another service body, the truck was left without a rear bed and eventually sat in the warehouse for years. I saw the potential in the truck and decided to bring it back to life. MAJOR MECHANICAL WORK COMPLETED After purchasing the truck, I had it transported to a mechanic in Brooklyn and went through it extensively. The following work was completed: Fuel tank removed and professionally cleaned New fuel pump installed Fresh gasoline New battery Engine oil and filter changed All fluids drained and replaced 8 new ignition coils 8 new spark plugs New brake calipers New brakes and rotors 4 new tires 4 new chrome wheel simulators New fuel filler neck New gas cap Air conditioning repaired and recharged New water pump New belts Additional hoses and miscellaneous maintenance items After sitting for approximately 20 years, the truck started right up once it received a fuel system service, fresh fuel, battery and fluids. I then drove it approximately five blocks to my family's body shop for the next phase of the restoration. FRAME & COSMETIC WORK The entire frame was thoroughly scraped, cleaned and painted using machine-black farm/implement paint. The truck also received: New exterior lights New rear tail lights New touchscreen head unit Wireless Apple CarPlay Wireless Android Auto The truck has been gone through extensively and is now running and driving extremely well. It has 80,000 original miles, and the low mileage combined with the long-term indoor storage makes this a very unusual F-250. It is a 27-year-old truck with only approximately 80,000 original miles that spent a large portion of its life stored indoors. I purchased it because I believed the truck had great bones and was worth bringing back to life. I have invested a significant amount of time and money into recommissioning it and addressing the major mechanical, brake, fuel, cooling, A/C, electrical, tire and frame-related work. Title in hand. FINALLY, THE DAY CAME! 🙌🔥 After a couple of months of waiting, today I finally got behind the wheel and drove it back home from Brooklyn to Staten Island! What a feeling. The whole drive went without a single hiccup, issue, or disappointment.
