The mechanic advised that it needs lower control arms and a rack-and-pinion bushing in order to properly complete the alignment. He also recommended replacing the lower ball joints while doing the other work, although he indicated the ball joints could be done later. I'm being upfront about the work it needs and have priced it accordingly. I've simply decided that at 270,000 miles, I'd rather put the money I would spend on additional repairs toward a newer vehicle since I cannot do the work on my own. This has been a capable mountain vehicle and could be a great fit for someone who works on their own vehicles, or has access to an affordable mechanic! Serious inquiries welcome. Happy to answer questions about its maintenance or provide additional photos. DO NOT TEXT ME IF IT IS AVAILABLE - I'll assume you are a scammer and I won't respond.
