2000 Porsche Boxster S 2dr Rear-wheel Drive Convertible Manual for sale in Detroit, MI
Listed at $12,500 USD.
Manual. Convertible. Naturally aspirated flat 6. Has the 2005 engine in it that has 280 HP compared to the 2000 engine that only had 250 HP. This was a new engine installed at the dealership about 4 years ago. I would estimate the new engine has 2,000 miles on it and it runs great. It also has an entire new convertible top assembly, also installed at the dealership. I just had $3,200 or work put into it. New OEM brakes/lines, coolant system, exhaust, etc. It was my dads "favorite toy" until he passed away and it has been sitting in my garage for 2 years now. My dad took pretty good care of it but I need to replace the fuse for the radio and windshield wipers and give it a thorough car wash. I have an extra set of wheels with 3 winter tires. One is missing, not sure why... It runs really well and is a lot of fun to drive. I would keep it but I need the garage space. just FYI... I still need to go to the DMV with my dads death certificate to get the title signed over to my name. It is insured though, co you can test drive if interested.
