2001 Ford Excursion Limited 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel 4x4 – Approx. 210k Miles Selling my 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 with the legendary 7.3L Power Stroke turbo diesel. Approximately 210,000 miles. This is a very solid 7.3 Excursion that I've put a lot of time and money into. It runs well, has no leaks, very little rust, and the interior is in great condition for its age. Recent work / upgrades: • Remanufactured injectors installed May 2026 • New oil pan • New main engine wiring harness • New IPR valve • New ICP sensor and pigtail • IDM replaced • Two newer batteries – approximately $600 • PHP Hydra tuner/chip Truck details: • 7.3L Power Stroke turbo diesel • Limited trim • 4WD • Automatic transmission • Approximately 210k miles • No leaks • Very little rust • Interior is in great condition • Body is in good overall condition • Runs well FULL TRANSPARENCY: This is a 25-year-old truck with 210k miles, and I'm not going to advertise it as perfect. If I were keeping it, my next projects would be going through some of the front-end/suspension components. A knock/clunk recently started that I haven't had a chance to fully diagnose yet. It may be something along the lines of a wheel bearing, tie rod/front-end component, etc., but I don't want to claim exactly what it is until it's diagnosed. I also planned on doing some paint/body touch-ups to clean up the cosmetics. There are some normal imperfections, minor dents/dings and areas I'd eventually touch up. None of that is being hidden from the buyer. I'd rather someone know exactly what they're coming to look at than waste either of our time. Overall, this is a solid, good-running 7.3 Excursion with a great interior, minimal rust, no leaks and a lot of recent mechanical work already completed. These 7.3L diesel Excursion Limited 4x4s are getting harder to find, especially ones that haven't been destroyed by Midwest rust. It would make an excellent tow rig, family hauler, road-trip/camping vehicle, or a great truck for someone who appreciates the 7.3 Power Stroke platform and wants to continue improving it.
