2001 Honda Accord 2.3 LX for sale in Seattle, WA
Listed at $3,000 USD.
155521 miles Low milage for its age. Great vehicle for someone who knows cars, who appreciates a Honda with a V6 (!!!), and who is looking for a safe commuting vehicle that could put another 150,000 miles on this original engine. Well maintained vehicle driven responsibly by one family who purchased it new in December 2000. Oil changed every 5,000 miles. Non-smoking and non-pet owning home. It has spent most of its life parked outside, so the paint shows its age. The interior is clean, and the seats do not show any significant damage or stains. Carpets are similar, and vehicle includes original mats as well as light grey WeatherTech all season mats inherited from a different Honda Accord. Transmission failed prematurely in 2013 and was rebuilt. No issues since. Original timing belt was also changed around 2019. Oil, filter, and break fluid changed last month. Has an after market car radio/CD player. Sold As Is. Cash only. A few known issues: (1) it does have a "slow" oil leak from oil gaskets. I check the oil levels regularly and it has never needed an emergency top-up. Changing oil only at Honda dealer has alerted me to this issue (along with droplets of oil in my parking lot), but it is so slow and has not affected the drivability of the car. You can replace these gaskets if you desire to spend the money/do it yourself. (2) Driver's side door has a switch connected to all power windows. However there must be a wire loose inside the door panel that is not allowing windows to be controlled. The power mirrors work perfectly. (3) Driver's side rear door does not open from the outside-- only from the inside for some reason. This must also be an easy fix for someone who knows cars. (4) In heavy or consistent rain, rear tail lights collect some water inside of them. They "drain" if trunk is opened fully.
