Selling my beloved 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Not because I want to, because I have to. Details: Year: 2001 Make/Model: Jeep Wrangler TJ Engine: 4.0L / 6 cylinder Transmission: 5-speed manual Mileage: 198,000 Drive: 4WD Lo/Hi Trim: Sport / 60th Year Anniversary Title: Clean Registration: Illinois - passed SMOG / CA emissions on (4/21/2026) *Can easily be switched over to CA tomorrow - has all documentation. Condition: I am the second owner of this Jeep. Bought it from a mechanic at 117,000 miles. He kept it in excellent condition and saved/documented all prior work, services, and information about the vehicle. I continued to do the same. It is a 25 year old Jeep, of course it has its wears and tears, but I have prided myself in keeping it in great condition and being very strict about the routine maintenance and precautions to keep this thing running like a top. ZERO RUST spots anywhere on the body of the jeep. Frame has ZERO weak points/rusted out spots. Check for yourself. Was in Illinois for 2 years before living in Arizona, then California. Very diligent about rinsing the underneath and frame when traveling through snow/ice/salt. Recent maintenance/upgrades: Oil change / fluids / tire rotation- done EVERY 3k-5k miles (overboard, I know) Brakes - Completely replaced rear drum brakes at 150k. Front pads and routers every year - or so. Upper radiator hose - 2024 Coolant flush - 2024 Battery - replaced every two years Fuel pump regulator - replaced at 157k miles Clutch and fly wheel - replaced at 130k Windshield - replaced at 150k Known issues: Sunspots on hood and windshield panel No oil/liquid leak Driver side visor missing Few cracks in fake leather setting (shown in pictures Dash and driving column looks brand new - no cracking or peeling Gets wobbly on the highway at about 65mph (notorious Jeep speed wobbles). Check the drive shaft, axel, ball joints, tie rod, etc. for wear and tear every time I do an oil change. All are proper.
