2003 50th Anniversary C5 Corvette - Automatic 140K miles - will increase the longer I own her. I drive her quite a bit. The 2003 C5 was the 50th anniversary model and had some nice goodies; Sport seats and not common two-tone black/shale colored interior with matching embroidered mats. Head Up Display Both the body color and smoked plexi targa-tops included with this car. LS6 high-flow intake. This car also has an aftermarket, high performance K&N air intake assembly to take advantage of the LS6 intake (just cleaned and serviced). New Michelin all season sport tires. Aftermarket Borla exhaust (sounds very nice without droning on the highway). Aftermarket crank vapor catch-can. Late model Pioneer Touch-screen double DIN head unit, with backup camera, voice control phone as well as Bluetooth Apple Car-Play. The stereo sounds fantastic. Very honest, clean daily driver and everything works as it should. A/C blows cold. No codes, no “funny noises”. Oh yeah, it also handles like a gigantic go-cart. Does it show use? Yes, this is 23 year old paint. However, I get “thumbs up” nearly every time I drive her. Gets between 27 and 29 MPG on the highway, gets low 20’s around town when I don’t have my foot in it. In all, if you are looking for a turn-key classic, this is it. The 2003 base model has 350HP, yet is now old enough that the insurance is not a punch in the face. Cost me less than $30/mo to add to my existing Hagarty’s insurance policy. C5 prices are going nuts, and the 2003-2004 are the most desirable years…all the good stuff, none of the problems from the earlier years. Every red-blooded car lover should own one at least once in their lifetime. At $13,950, you need to pull the trigger.
