2003 Volkswagen Passat GL 4dr Front-wheel Drive Sedan Manual for sale in Kansas City, MO
Listed at $1,500 USD.
I am the second owner of this 2003 GLX 4Motion AWD Wagon 4D Passat with a V6, 2.8 Liter engine, bought in 2016 and have loved it since. Kept up on all maintenance: oil changes, belts, tires/brakes, etc. Replaced the radiator a few years ago and put in a new battery last month. All work was done by a mechanic, so I can produce records if you want. Everything still works on it except one thing, and this is why I'm selling it: this summer the fittings on the heater core cracked and started leaking radiator fluid. Fixing this was unfeasible as it'd require removing the dashboard components, which at 23 years old would probably all break. So the mechanic bypassed the heater core (shown in the last picture). This means that there is NO HEAT. If you're looking for a very reliable vehicle that'll get you from point A to point B, this is a great car. If you expect to be warm this winter while driving it... not so great.
