The Good: Great running condition – No MIL HVAC works perfectly (hot and cold) New Firestone tires Fixed EVAP leak (breather hose) Fixed firewall leak (common for this car) New items: gas cap (OEM), dip stick (OEM), n80 purge valve (Bosch – OE equiv), 4 new fuel injectors (OEM) No leaks Great gas mileage (from new injectors) LED headlight bulbs Oil changes at 3k with VW 502 spec synthetic + OEM high-capacity oil filter (not the standard small size) No oil burning, sludge, or loss All wiper blades replaced with Bosch Upgraded stub antenna (still have original as well) The Bad: Cosmetic damage (but good for a daily driver this age) Peeling clear coat (common in this era of VW) Interior wear and tear Missing floormats (previous owner never had them) No cargo cover (common for the spring to break on them - previous owner removed) ABS light – may be ABS control module – does not affect driving/normal braking (this was intermittent but now seems to always be on)
