2004 Acura MDX Base for sale in Colorado Springs, CO
Listed at $2,400 USD.
2004 Acura MDX Touring AWD with Entertainment Package and 238,002 miles. Clean Colorado title. Very clean and presentable MDX for its age. Recently professionally detailed and has had several recent repairs and maintenance items completed. It starts right up and runs well, but it does have a known transmission issue described below. Features & recent work: * Touring Package * Factory Entertainment Package / rear DVD system * AWD * 3.5L V6 * 7-passenger / 3rd-row seating * Leather interior * Heated and power front seats * Power sunroof * Premium audio * Roof rack * Running boards * Nearly new matching tires — rears have only a few hundred miles and fronts only a few thousand * New front control arms * New battery * New starter * Headlights recently restored * Recently professionally detailed * Clean Colorado title 238,002 miles — averages only about 10,500 miles per year over the life of the vehicle. Known transmission issue The MDX starts easily and the transmission shifts through the gears, including Drive and Reverse. It will drive normally for a period of time, but intermittently it loses engagement and acts as though it is in Neutral. Sometimes this happens fairly quickly; other times it can be driven for a while before it occurs. My mechanic advised that a transmission service may improve or prolong its operation, but it may ultimately require transmission repair or replacement. Selling as-is with the transmission condition fully disclosed and priced accordingly. There is also some cosmetic damage to the driver’s side of the rear bumper, shown in the photos. Otherwise, the body and exterior present very well considering its age. This could be a great opportunity for someone familiar with Honda/Acura vehicles, someone who has access to transmission work, or someone looking for an inexpensive AWD SUV project. $2,400 OBO. Clean title in hand. No trades.
