Our Scion xA has 103,500 miles, and will go at least another hundred thousand. It has an economical and peppy 1.5 liter engine with a timing chain, so there is no timing belt to replace. It has great visibility and is easy to park. The interior and exterior are in great shape, as are the engine, transmission and brakes. The tires are all in good condition and have lots of miles left in them. It has a nice stock Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, air bags, power steering, power brakes, an automatic transmission, power windows and power door locks. Recent work: transmission fluid and filter, new NGK G-Power spark plugs and window motor on the driver's door. It seats five and is surprisingly roomy for a small car, and has loads of room for a Costco run with the back seat folded down. Mileage is 30-35 MPG, depending on your driving habits. This would be a dependable and economical car for a college student, as a daily driver, for commuting and running errands.
