Selling my 2004 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V8 . 288,000 miles. Overall in good shape for the age. It is not perfect but runs well. First the cons- Has some clear coat fade on hood and roof, the dash has a couple cracks across the front portion (common problem with these early 4th gen 4Runners that Toyota covered at one time, unfortunately, this truck didn't make it to the dealer in time to fix it before time had expired) has a check engine light P0420 and P0430 for catalytic converters below threshold. Also has the common manifold ticking on cold start, due to cracked manifolds. These are common issues with a higher mileage 4.7 L V8. Both issues can be fixed at the same time because the catalytic converters are part of the exhaust manifold. You are welcome to bring a scan-tool to run codes. I also have a scanner myself that I can show anyone interested in buying the truck , all the codes stored. I've been driving it fine the way it is. The lower oil pan is starting to leak. The pros- timing belt was done at 244k. Valve cover gaskets replaced in 2019. The common transfer case leak , has been addressed with new inner seals and does not leak gear oil. The power steering rack was replaced 2 years ago. Comes with 2 new tires. Come take a look , if you know these trucks, you know they are reliable which this one has been , but is not perfect by any means. Clean interior, non smoker.
