Car is clean. No leaks. AC and heat work. Sun roof works. Car needs to crank and then starts on second crank. In an effort to fix the problem I replaced the crank position sensor, the camshaft position sensor and the fuel pump. After those repairs didn't solve the starting problem I took it to get diagnosed and was told that it is almost certainly a timing issue. Car can be driven home. I have since inherited my grandfathers Jetta and have made that my daily driver and no longer need this Passat, working or not. If you are familiar with these cars and have the means to fix the timing, this could be a great daily driver. I have a set of newer snow tires mounted on VW wheels that can go along with the car as well as well as winter and summer floor matts. I also have oil change history and repair paperwork. I also have diagnostic paper work and a clean title. I am available on weekends and holidays. $1000 obo.
