You can get a used one For $3000, 250,000 miles. A brand new one will cost you at least For five times that much. Unless you want to replace the clutch, rings and seals, along with the torque converter. Torque converter is $800. It’s an Expensive fix No matter how you slice it. Unless you have a place to put it where you can work on it on and off. It’s got incredible amount of headspace. I was gonna live in it when things got bad. But was using it for rubbish Removal business temporarily. So this was a great tragedy to me. It has a transmission drain plug, so I conveniently drained all the transmission fluid out of it. Seems like kind of a gamble to put new transmission fluid, and the hopes of bringing the transmission back to life. But who knows you might have a miracle.
