2006 Honda Element original owner from 6 miles on odometer to knocking on the door at 710,000 miles!!! Not another one like it. Original Engine with Great gas mileage and maybe uses a half quart oil in 3000 miles. I changed oil every 3000 miles using both Mobil 1 and Royal Purple and last 5 years at Honda dealership. Has been maintained at Larry Miller in Boise for last 5 years. New Rebuilt Transmission with 30,000 miles, Power stop drilled and slotted rotors and brakes, new rack and pinion, new air conditioner Compressor and front condenser, comes with mounted tires on Mags and I also have the 4 original equipment mag wheels from factory. absolutely no oil leaks many spare parts. My personal work vehicle that ran 7 states and has never been in an accident. Last visit to Larry Miller Honda in Boise Jake the mechanic i have always used for 5 years brought to my attention the clicking sound in engine was probably from a thrust bearing but also could be in the timing chain which has never been changed. we still drive but feel it’s a matter of time possibly for things to fail. we did change oil to 10x30 as heavier weight. Condition of vehicle is exceptional and if someone is looking to rebuild would be like new as pictures show. We have other vehicles and at this point spent as much as we want to go any further.
