The basics 2007 Ford Explorer Limited — top trim 4.6L V8, 6-speed automatic, 4WD ~260,000 miles Single owner since new, clean title Never been in an accident Black exterior, black leather interior Sunroof (no leaks), tow package Original window sticker included (photo in listing) — sold new at Victor Ford in Wauconda, IL What's been done Cooling system just serviced — radiator flushed, runs cool and drives great Oil just changed Ignition coil pack replaced last month Exhaust replaced last year Battery less than a year old New fog lights Hood and tailgate window struts replaced last week Tires in good condition Everything works — heat, A/C, power seats, windows, locks, sunroof, all power accessories Known needs (priced into the ask) Brakes — not done in a few years, most likely due soon Driver-side wheel bearing — starting to whine. No play in the wheel; my mechanic checked it and confirmed it's solid for now, but it'll want attention before too long. Passenger-side running board — removed and discarded after one mounting bracket rusted off. Driver-side board is still on. Liftgate handle — sticks when you open it; manually retracting it after each open fixes it every time. Minor nuisance. Rear wiper — not working. Airbag dash warning light is on. Condition Very clean truck for the year and miles. Leather is in good shape, interior is well kept. Some rust spots visible (shown in photos) — being upfront about it because I'd rather you know before you drive out. Mechanically solid: starts right up, shifts smooth, no overheating, no warning lights. Tow package + V8 makes it a great cheap second vehicle, tow rig, or winter driver.
