Hello, Thanks for checking out this old Civic. It runs well and would be a great little commuter for someone on a budget. It has a bunch of little scratches and dings. It has a couple bigger eye sores, but is overall good. I’ll jump right into it. Good stuff: One family driven from here in Columbus. Engine and transmission work well. Ac and heat work very well. No major rust that is common for these this age. Needs: Has a weeping oil drain plug. Firestone changed the oil and messed up the threads or seal at the drain plug. I just changed the oil myself and was hoping a new plug would fix it. It did not. I think someone could do a size-up re-thread or just replace the pan. I’ve never done either repair, so before I attempt it, I figured I would pass the opportunity to a new buyer at a lower car price. It will need a brake overhaul. It is drivable now, but I can tell the calipers are sticking and are not up to standard. This is a repair I can do easily, but first want to pass the value on, before spending the time myself and increasing the cost. Good thing is that brakes are cheap for this car. It has a hole in the front driver side corner of the bumper. I have tape over the hole in the bumper. It also has a dent in the trunk (see pic). It is also commonly missing the windshield trim pieces. Other interesting bits: It has all three original keys. It has Bridgestone Weatherpeak tires. The rears need to be rotated to the front as they have more tread. I am firm on the price and will not consider lower offers. If it does not sell soon, I’ll be doing the plug and brake repairs and listing it at a higher price. Please send an email if interested. Thanks.
