Selling my 2008 Volkswagen R32 with 94700 miles. Vehicle is finished in United Gray and sits on genuine Euro spec Zolder 18 inch wheels. Original wheels not included with the vehicle. Only other alterations on the car include a Neuspeed rear sway bar & end links and adjustable Bilstein B14 coilovers that are currently set to the OEM ride height. Blemishes on the exterior include a scratch on the driver door that I was told was caused by a car tent in previous ownership. Also, a scuff on the passenger side of the front bumper that is also pictured. Interior is in good condition considering the mileage. From what I've seen, the leather typically ages horribly on higher mileage examples of these R32s, so they present well on this one. A very common issue on MkV Golfs are sagging headliners, and this one looks to have been replaced as no areas show any signs of sagging. Marks do appear around the shifter surround with very minor tears on the shift boot leather, and one of the rear floor mats are missing. Mechanically, there's been good amount of deferred maintenance caught up on in my ownership. Aging suspension components were replaced with a Bilstein B14 coilover suspension at 90200 miles, plus DSG and Haldex services were completed as preventative maintenance at 92400 miles. A couple items were discovered the previous time the vehicle was serviced, at 94700 miles, that are recommended to be done in the near future. The camshaft cover gasket has failed and is currently causing an oil leak. I was quoted $1700 for this to be completed. Also, the front control arm bushings should be replaced soon. I was quoted $1200 for this to be completed alongside an alignment. Other defects include failed door lock actuators. I've always been able to lock and unlock the vehicle by putting the key in the driver door, so I've never felt the need to fix this. Another thing to note is the hood stays up when opened, but the struts aren't as strong as they were at one point so they could be due for replacement in the near future. The exterior paint is in expected condition for the vehicle's age and mileage. It could use a paint correction as this was never done in my ownership. At the very least, front and rear bumpers, and rear quarter panel have been resprayed in the past.
