2009 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS for sale in Boulder, CO
Listed at $8,000 USD.
Rebuilt transmission at 180K, new motor at 200K. black leather interior is in excellent shape (has been maintained) for vehicle with this many miles on it. rebuilt 6 speed transmission (with towing package) and front end work (including front brake pads) by previous owner at around 180K miles. When I got it on 01/12/2022 with 190K miles, I did rear brake job (ceramic pads and turned rotors)/ changed break fluid/changed front differential fluid, replaced broken exhaust manifold bolts, replaced idler pullies, replaced wiper blades, and cleaned and reoiled the KN air filter. Fan belt, spark plugs/wires looked fairly new when I bought it, so did not replace. Added electronic brake controller for trailer in 2022. Only pulled 32' camper on 2 local camping trips in 2022 before my new truck was finally delivered. The 5.3L/six speed transmission did pretty good with my 32' travel trailer. 1/7/24 I replaced leaking transmission cooling lines (common issue at high mileage), one dead tire pressure sensor to get tire pressure monitoring system working again, and faulty break position switch to get cruise control working again. No alarms on dash board. 9/12/24 replaced faulty oil pressure sensor (a real pain on these models). 12/24/24 engine suffered lifter failure with massive misfires. Diagnosed and determined that engine was now toast. 1/20/2025 200,426 miles Pulled dead engine and replacing with new Fraser Engines long block with enhanced parts (for better warranty). I just reuse intake manifold and harmonic balancer, all front and back engine covers and seals are in place, engine is fully sealed. Installed new water pump, new engine mounts (they were both bad), new spark plugs, new antifreeze, and new battery. Front and rear differential fluid changed. I only use Mobile-1 full synthetic engine oil in all of my vehicles. 5/17/25 201,104 miles finished engine break-in and changed oil. 5/10/26 changed oil, did lube job, checked brake pads, and changed break fluid (been 4 years). Truck has black interior/dashboard, so intense heat/sun. Some cracks in dashboard and instrument cluster lens, and 1 rear window defogger lead dangling (came unglued). Some minor door dings and hail dings. It needs new tires (tread is low and tires are aged out). I did not replace tires so new owners can get tire warranty coverage when tires are replaced. It was an emergency stop-gap transportation purchase when we lost everything, including car and extreme low mileage 2004 suburban in 2021 Marshal fire. It was the best vehicle available at the time that met our immediate needs. Now have rebuilt house, new truck, and 95% less driving, so this vehicle is no longer needed. Come take a look if you need good transportation, 8 person seating / cargo capacity, and want to pull a camping trailer.
