2009 Chevrolet Tahoe LS for sale in Flagstaff, AZ
Listed at $4,800 USD.
2009 Chevy Tahoe LS 4x4. 5.3 V8, about 200k. Clean AZ title in hand, no accidents. Up front: this is a truck for somebody who turns their own wrenches. Parts are cheap, labor isn't. If you're paying a shop for the whole list you'll be into it for thousands and you should buy a nicer one instead. Get your own quote first. I just drove it 36 hours across the country. Nothing it needs is engine or transmission. Texas truck, then Nevada, then Arizona. Surface rust on the frame like any 17 year old truck, no rot, nothing structural. It's been on a lift and I can send undercarriage pics. GOOD: - King shocks all four corners. Real ones. All four are tired and want a rebuild, saying that up front. They rebuild for a couple hundred a corner instead of getting tossed, which is the point of running them - 4x4 works - Interior's in good shape - Front bench, third row pulled, tons of flat cargo room - Aftermarket Bluetooth stereo w/ backup camera - Hitch - One key and fob, both work - Few small dents, body's straight - Trans leak fixed in December, dry since NEEDS, to drive it now: - Heater hose leaking coolant. Cheap part, easy access - Four tires, current set is done About $700 in parts doing it yourself. NEEDS, to be right: - Rear main seal. The big one. Leaks oil and it isn't subtle, you'll be watching the dipstick. Did 36 hours like this so it's not urgent, but I'm not calling it minor either. Seal's $30. Shops want a grand plus because the trans has to come out - Rebuild the four Kings - Tie rods Most people buy something like this, do the hose and tires, drive it, and get to the rear main later. Why it's priced here: I moved out of state, and the family who'd do this work for pizza and beer is all on the East Coast. Shop rates on a 200k truck don't pencil for me. Might for you. It's sitting at a shop in Flagstaff. The mechanic's had it on the lift, knows exactly what's wrong with it, and will walk you through it and quote you on anything you want done. Talk to him instead of taking my word for it. $4800 cash, as-is. No trades. NO SCAMS. I'm not clicking your vehicle history link, I'm not shipping it, and I'm not taking a cashier's check.
